Distinct smell

by Nina
(Ireland)

I live in Ireland and when I was in South Africa I purchased two bottles of the spf30 sunscreen. I couldn't find the expiry dates on them.
I opened one recently and it has a very distinct off putting smell. I have previously used the product so I know it is not like the usual smell.
I want to know what I can do if I purchased an expired product? Again I'm not sure if the product is expired because I don't see an expiry date on the tube.
The product has also split so it is watery and clumpy at the same time.
The other tube I purchased seems to be okay as it has a different smell that I am used to and the consistency is different.

Unusual smell of SPF30 Classic
by: Sue

Hello Nina.
There should never be a bottle of sunumbra in the market without the expiry date stamped on the back of the bottle. Together with a batch number.
If there is really nothing visual there is no way of telling if it has expired.
Regardless - our policy is to replace your bottle or provide a refund to you. Please let us know which may be your preference?
With Best Wishes, Sue
